The Council of education was established under the auspicious leadership of late Dr. Ratnappa Kumbhar. We take pride in being guided by Dr. Ratnappa Kumbhar, who was a reputed freedom fighter, social reformer, notable political leader, Sarkar Maharshi, and great educationalist. He was awarded with Doctorate by Pune University and PadmaShri by Government of India.

At present Council of Education runs four colleges -
Shahaji Law College, 1933
Deshbhakta Ratnappa Kumbhar College of commerce, 1957,
Night College of Arts and Commerce 1971
Parvatidevi Kumbhar College of nursing 2022

In the Western region of Maharashtra, the Council of Education played a pioneering role in imparting education in law, commerce and management, humanities and nursing to nurture the talent in this area.

Council of Education is known as quality educational hub with the strong support and encouragement from learned and dynamic leadership team. President Hon. Sou. Rajanitai Magdum, Vice President Hon. Dr. Prasad Magdum, Secretary Hon. Dr. Vishwanath Magdum, Director of Hon. Advocate Prasad Badkar and Director Hon. Advocate Vaibhav Pednekar are taking ahead the glorious legacy of founder President Hon. Ratnappa Kumbhar.
